Questions and answers

  1. Who is behind EU AI Talk?

Andreas Dahrendorf. For four decades I produced media, ran companies, and worked early on virtual reality at the DFKI and Fraunhofer institutes. For four years I have worked with AI myself and seen what it does reliably and where its limits lie. That is where the question behind this podcast comes from: which AI is being built in Europe, who uses it, and who bears the costs and the responsibility?

  2. How is EU AI Talk funded?

From my own pocket. EU AI Talk is my own independent project, without a client or commission. Behind it there is no company, no lobby, no investor, and no equity: the only money in it is my own start-up cost. Nobody tells me what to ask when I look for answers in conversations with people in research, business, politics, and public administration.

  3. Where are the conversations published?

As video on YouTube, as audio on all podcast platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Also on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Substack. You are welcome to share the conversation on any of your own channels.

    All channels

  4. Are there episodes already?

Not yet, as of early October 2026. We record the first episodes in mid-October and publish them right after.

  5. Will I see the episode before it is published?

If you wish, yes. On request you receive the finished cut before publication to view and approve.

  6. Can I withdraw my consent?

At any time and without giving a reason. You can withdraw your consent or ask for an episode or specific content to be removed.

  7. What equipment do I need?

We record in Riverside. You need:

    • a camera
    • a microphone
    • the Chrome browser, which Riverside runs in

If you need a headset, I am happy to send you one.

  8. How are the questions made?

I write the questions, and you receive them in advance. Before the recording we go through them together.
